The Arcanum Vault

The Arcanum Vault ("the Vault", "we", "us") is a personal collection-tracking service for Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon trading cards. By signing in, creating an account, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Vault.
The Vault is currently in a private beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
The Vault displays market prices, valuations, trends, alerts, and AI-generated commentary about trading cards. All of it is informational only. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and no content should be relied on as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any item. Card prices come from third-party sources and may be delayed, estimated, or wrong. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use the Vault. One person per account; you may not sell or transfer your account.
New accounts receive a 48-hour free trial with full access, starting when the account is created. After the trial, continued access requires a paid membership of US $4.99 per month (plus any applicable taxes), billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Manage billing (the Stripe billing portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial-period refunds are given except where required by law. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds. If your membership lapses, your vault data is retained and access is restored when you resubscribe. Some accounts (for example, early beta members) have complimentary access, which we may modify with notice. We may change subscription pricing with at least 14 days' notice on this site or by email; continuing to use the Vault after a price change takes effect means you accept it.
Your collection data belongs to you. You grant us permission to store and process it solely to operate the service — computing valuations, generating snapshots, sending the alerts and emails you enable, and powering features like charts, briefs, and the vault chat. We do not sell your data.
Do not attempt to access other users' vaults, probe or overload the service, scrape the site, reverse-engineer the API, or use the Vault for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules or harm the service or its users.
We send transactional emails (welcome, email confirmation, password reset, and billing-related notices such as trial-ending reminders; Stripe may also send payment receipts). Optional emails — the daily brief, vault movers, weekly recaps, and price/supply alerts — are sent only if you add an email address and can be turned off any time in Settings.
The Vault relies on third parties: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), market data providers (e.g. TCGplayer, PriceCharting, ManaPool), and AI providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) for generated text and audio. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control. Payments are subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Vault and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising from your use of the service — including decisions made based on prices or analytics shown here. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US $50 or the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
You may stop using the Vault at any time and may request deletion of your account and data (see the Privacy Policy); if you have an active subscription, we will cancel it as part of account deletion. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time; if we permanently discontinue the service, active subscribers receive a pro-rated refund of any prepaid, unused period.
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Vault after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
